Back to the love of book cover art, a never ending subject that interests me. Of course we know that book buyers do judge a book by its cover. Hopefully there’s other reasons but having an arresting jacket can’t hurt. Today’s highlight is the great jacket designer, ad identity definer and all around brilliant artist Alvin Lustig. Now available are four of his New Directions, New Classics Series book jackets, beautifully designed as limited edition, fine art screen prints in an edition of 100!
