Man Booker Long List Announced

Compared to previous years, the 2007 Man Booker list is comprised of a set of low-profile names, with Ian McEwan being the list’s most well-known author.
This list of 13 books, the Man Booker Dozen, was chosen from 110 entries; 92 were submitted for the prize and 18 were called in by the judges.

* The Gathering by Anne Enright (Jonathan Cape)

* Mister Pip by Lloyd Jones (John Murray)
* Gifted by Nikita Lalwani (Viking)
* On Chesil Beach by Ian McEwan (Jonathan Cape)
* What Was Lost by Catherine O’Flynn (Tindal Street)
* Consolation by Michael Redhill (William Heinemann)
* Animal’s People by Indra Sinha (Simon & Schuster)

Hi there, yes we use wordpress. a developer helped us set it up. blogger.com is easier to use if you don’t have a budget for a programmer. Check it out – you should be able to see up a blog there rather easily. Thanks for reading Livewires!
